South East Asia’s Renewable Energy Technology Exhibition and Conference.
Energy is the lifeblood of today’s modern world. In fact at no time in history has it played a more critical role in the development of nations than it does today. The source and nature of energy, its equitable distribution, and environmental impact are all crucial factors to be considered. That is why renewable energy in the form of solar, wind, bio-fuels and geo-thermal sources are proving of such great interest – especially in the ASEAN region.
The Association of Asean nations has set itself a benchmark to source 15% of its total installed power capacity from renewable energy by the year 2015. This will mean the investment of billions of dollars -a very attractive area to be in - especially as many countries are offering subsidized participation.
